Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Zankou Chicken. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities- Greet all customers in a friendly, helpful, and timely manner.
- Take customer orders and provide information and suggestions about our menu.
- Repeat orders to customers and ensure that their needs are met.
- Assist customers in the dining area and follow up to ensure their satisfaction.
- Ensure that team members are following all food safety and work safety guidelines.
- Direct team members on shift to follow all cash management and cash register policies.
- Perform Travel Paths and execute store operations during scheduled shifts.
- Provide ongoing coaching to store team and identify areas for improvement.
- Order and receive deliveries and ensure that processing requirements are met.
- Give breaks as necessary and according to labor law guidelines.
- Floor Control and planning weekly schedules and training.
- Prepare daily administrative paperwork, including cash reconciliations, daily/monthly inventories, store schedules, and weekly payrolls.
- Food Safety/Sanitation requirements and Food handler certificate.
- Friendly and positive attitude and willingness to adapt to a changing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coach, train, develop, delegate, and follow up.
- Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to be organized in a changing environment and comply with basic labor law requirements.
- Ability to deal with liability issues and Workers Comp issues correctly and understand labor law guidelines.
- Strong understanding of interviewing, hiring, and termination processes.
- Ability to reach, bend, squat, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs and mobility required during the entire shift.
