About the Role

The Maintenance Coordinator will oversee and participate in daily maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. This role ensures compliance with company policies and standards related to GMP, production, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Plant Maintenance Leader in developing and implementing training and development plans.
  • Lead training sessions on maintenance and repair of production and facilities equipment.
  • Conduct annual reviews of training documentation.
  • Review department staffing based on production schedules and escalate concerns to the Plant Maintenance Leader.
  • Lead department communication meetings and disseminate plant announcements and changes.
  • Execute maintenance priorities and plans, track performance against goals, and report progress to the Plant Maintenance Leader.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address maintenance, quality, and processing issues.
Safety and Compliance
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety regulations, addressing any safety concerns immediately.
  • Conduct daily risk assessments and safety audits within the facilities.
  • Ensure proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and clip-out.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance for assigned machinery and equipment.
  • Ensure all areas adhere to safety and cGMP standards.
  • Escalate safety concerns/incidents promptly through proper channels.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a production/operations facility.
  • Certification from a recognized technical institute or military experience preferred.
  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven abilities in resourcefulness, good judgment, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work efficiently under minimal supervision, and perform well under pressure.
  • Clear expression of ideas, both verbally and in writing, and ability to follow verbal and written instructions, manuals, wiring diagrams, work orders, and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of PLC logic and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of metal fabrication (machine shop work).
  • Knowledge of basic plumbing and water line repair.
  • Proficiency in the use, maintenance, and care of tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Ability to understand and diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems.
  • Ability to understand and diagnose electrical problems.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify problems, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to generate and analyze reports, charts, and KPIs.
