Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Charlotte. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues.
  • Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, and light bulb and A/C filter replacement.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system to ensure safe maintenance work practices.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
