Job Title: Member Services Representative

At Planet Fitness, we're committed to creating a Judgement Free Zone where our members can feel comfortable and motivated to reach their fitness goals. As a Member Services Representative, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our members have an outstanding experience at our clubs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage front desk activities, including checking members into the system, handling new member sign-ups, and providing tours of the club.
  • Facilitate updates to member accounts and respond to member questions and concerns, escalating issues to Assistant Managers or Managers as needed.
  • Perform cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the club.
  • Obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification and Tanning Certification, as required by the company.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; passion for fitness and health a plus.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Diplomacy and effective communication skills are necessary for interacting with members and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:

The Member Services Representative will work in an indoor environment, with exposure to noise, dust, and cleaning chemicals. The role requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk and stand for prolonged periods, as well as to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, and lift moderate weights (up to 50lbs).
