About the Role

The Timken Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Broomfield, CO. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex electro-mechanical lifting equipment from inception to completion to the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently manage multiple concurrent highly technical capital construction projects for a wide variety of external and internal customers in the industrial, aerospace, infrastructure, and commercial spaces.
  • Design and develop mechanical, structural, and electrical systems for custom machinery.
  • Provide technical direction and support to operations personnel during the manufacture of custom machinery.
  • Develop and manage technical quotations for projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required; mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Seven (7) years of experience working as a mechanical, electrical, or structural design engineer required; ten (10) preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing projects required; five (5) preferred.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or Solidworks; experience in both preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical fundamentals.
  • Ability to interpret and apply design codes.
  • Strong computer skills: proficient in MS 365/Office Suite and Acrobat required; Epicor preferred.
What We Offer

The Timken Company offers a competitive salary range of $91,000 - $125,000, commensurate on experience and education, and could pay more or less than the posted range. This full-time position is eligible to participate in the company's short-term incentive program, paid time off plan, 401k, and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision.
