Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our Denver Office team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development, design, planning, and execution of geotechnical and geohazard mitigation construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Engineers and Project Development Engineers to develop innovative solutions for challenging geohazard issues.
  • Perform site reconnaissance and slope investigation, including steep terrain, high rope access, and rappelling as necessary.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analyses, including slope stability modeling, rockfall simulation, and geotechnical and structural analysis.
  • Review plans and specifications, develop project take-offs, and prepare construction estimates.
  • Communicate with clients, project teams, and internal departments regarding design changes and approvals.
  • Represent GSI at industry events and present technical presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Professional Engineer License (PE) required.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and AutoCAD, with experience in Rocscience software suite preferred.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and travel up to 25% of the time.

What We Offer
