Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing overall nutrition care to patients, ensuring that their nutritional needs are met, and documenting their nutritional status accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and review Clinical Nutrition functions of the Nutrition Services Department, including Medical Nutrition Therapy, corporate and organizational projects, Cerner upgrades, and department initiatives.
  • Assist with employee selection, orientation, and instruction, as appropriate.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and compliance of patient menus, nutritional analysis, policies, and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective multidisciplinary relationships to provide a uniformed approach to patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food and Nutrition, Clinical Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Successful completion of a dietetic internship.
  • Registered at the time of employment by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or within six months from date of hire.
  • Licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians at the time of employment, or within one year from date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nutrition.
  • Experience in acute care clinical dietetics.
  • ServSafe Certification.
