Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to provide clinical services to participants in our interim housing programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing group and individual psychotherapy, developing high-quality group curricula, and performing behavioral health assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide group and individual psychotherapy to participants in our interim housing programs
  • Develop and implement high-quality group curricula and clinical treatment planning protocols
  • Perform behavioral health screenings and assessments, and refer clients to community-based mental health clinics as needed
  • Formulate clinical diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment plans for Bell Shelter clients
  • Assist case managers in devising effective care plans for clients
  • Assess and assist clients in emotional distress or crisis to promote emotional well-being and stability
  • Provide in-service trainings for Bell Shelter staff
Requirements
  • Must be a Licensed or License-Eligible Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT/LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (MSW/LCSW), or Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC/LPCC)
  • At least 2 years of experience as a clinician serving individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse issues
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for clients with psychiatric disorders
  • Experience working with people experiencing homelessness in a residential setting preferred

The Clinical Therapist will work in a fast-paced environment, providing services to clients in our interim housing programs. The ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain confidentiality is essential.

What We Offer

The Salvation Army offers a competitive salary range of $35.00-$40.00/hour, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
