About the Position:

IMCO Construction is seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Coordinator to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Safety and be responsible for implementing and overseeing the safety policies and procedures of IMCO Construction and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and evaluate safety performance, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement safety plans, conduct risk assessments, and provide training and guidance on safety procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety policies, procedures, and training records.
  • Provide support and guidance to project teams on safety-related matters, including regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training Program certification.
  • HAZWOPER certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
