The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Forest City. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings
- Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided, maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, addressing residents' physical, emotional, and social needs
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
