About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Member Service Representative to join our team at Horizon Credit Union. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Member Service
    • Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous and professional manner, providing prompt and efficient service.
    • Receive and process member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
    • Provide accurate and timely information to members regarding their accounts and financial services.
  • Cash Handling
    • Count, verify, and reconcile cash and other financial instruments.
    • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Financial Services
    • Provide members with information and guidance on credit union products and services, including loans, deposits, and other financial solutions.
    • Assist members with opening and closing accounts, as well as other financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
