GPI is on the lookout for a traffic engineering project leader to become part of our expanding Pennsylvania Traffic division, with opportunities available in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing a variety of complex projects
  • Guiding a team of skilled engineers and technicians
  • Providing mentorship to junior team members
  • Engaging with clients and local/state agencies, including participation in public hearings
  • Managing project scopes, timelines, and financials
  • Drafting contracts and evaluating invoices
  • Ensuring technical precision, adherence to standard engineering practices, and comprehensive documentation on project plans, reports, and design documents
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • 15+ years of experience in traffic engineering for both private and public clients
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong communication skills for public engagements and collaboration with governmental agencies
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory
  • Familiarity with traffic analysis software (e.g., Synchro/SimTraffic and HCS)
Essential Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend plans and instructions in English
  • Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to create and modify Microsoft Word and Excel documents, manage Outlook emails, and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for team communication
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on duty
