Position Overview

4. Maintain comprehensive records regarding the quantity, cost, and types of materials received, stored, and distributed.
5. Conduct regular inventory checks, investigating discrepancies related to overages, shortages, or misplaced items by reviewing relevant documentation.
6. Establish stock replenishment levels for centrally managed supplies, adhering to budgetary constraints.
7. Review requisitions for accuracy and compliance with established regulations, adjusting order quantities based on current stock levels.
8. Code and classify requisitions, shipping orders, and related documents, directing requests to appropriate supply sources when items are unavailable.

Qualifications
Military Requirements:
Applicants must hold a compatible military grade and assignment prior to placement. Membership in the National Guard is required for this Excepted Service position. Candidates not currently affiliated with the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.

General Experience:
Applicants should possess experience, education, or training that demonstrates knowledge of trade and shop items, as well as the ability to apply identification skills effectively.

Specialized Experience:
Candidates must have at least 9 months of specialized experience in stock verification, storage organization, item identification, and maintenance tasks, including tool repairs and operational checks.
