The Quality Assurance Analyst is a key member of our team responsible for delivering high-quality software projects across our financial technology brands. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will work closely with our Product Development, Systems Implementation, and Software Development teams to ensure the delivery of reliable, innovative, and timely financial services products.
Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and maintain up-to-date test cases, test runs, and test plans defined for each assigned project.
- Test Automation: Contribute to test automation and run available automated tests for each release, providing new automation requirements as needed.
- Software Builds and Deploys: Assist in software builds and deploys within both our test and production environments.
- Test Data Collection and Analysis: Collect data and test run results for reporting and problem analysis.
- Defect Detection and Resolution: Detect, isolate, and drive defect resolution prior to production release.
- Test Execution Results Documentation: Document test execution results for each project and assist UAT testers, applying learnings to improve future testing.
- Software Quality Identification: Identify any genuine concerns about the software quality that may need to be addressed for further consideration.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in scheduled and ad-hoc meetings within the team or associated with specific projects.
- Company Policies and Procedures: Understand applicable company policies, procedures, and other job-specific instructive documents and materials.
- Compliance Training: Complete all compliance training assigned to ensure understanding of key provisions of law, regulation, and internal policies and procedures applicable to job duties.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor processes and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Company Values and Vision: Model and teach the Company's Vision and Values.
- Additional Tasks and Responsibilities: Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that contribute towards team, department, and company goals, as directed by your manager.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or related degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 1+ years QA experience.
- Software Testing Knowledge: Working knowledge of software testing concepts and practices.
- Learning Ability: Strong aptitude for learning both new software technologies and financial services products.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL, Microsoft.NET, PowerShell, or other scripting languages a plus.
- Finance Knowledge: Knowledge of finance processes and/or experience in finance operations.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to operate independently and make good decisions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities, circumstances, and direction.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the QA team and other internal departments.
- Analysis and Communication: Ability to analyze complex relationships and configurations and communicate results in a clear, summary form.
