We are in search of a proficient Administrative Associate 3 who can operate with minimal oversight to provide essential support to our faculty and programs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our team, assisting faculty and research personnel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act on behalf of the supervisor or department manager to establish priorities and address administrative challenges.
  • Manage and execute tasks related to scheduling, organizing, and conducting complex conferences, seminars, and events, including vendor coordination and logistics management.
  • Draft and compose documents and correspondence for various purposes, ensuring thorough editing and fact-checking.
  • Create, maintain, and verify the accuracy of content in unit documents, reports, brochures, and online platforms.
  • Plan and coordinate calendars with limited consultation, resolving conflicts and arranging travel in accordance with relevant policies.
  • Generate detailed reports and spreadsheets utilizing specialized software and systems.
  • Oversee and process a variety of intricate financial transactions and assist with equipment requests and vendor selection.
  • May supervise the daily activities of student or temporary workers, including workload management and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma coupled with four years of administrative experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience is required. Candidates should possess advanced computer skills and have demonstrated experience with office software and email applications.

Successful candidates will show a track record of completing projects, taking initiative, and managing responsibilities effectively. The role requires frequent desk-based computer tasks, with occasional physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
