Key Responsibilities- Conduct daily inside sales activities using telephonic tools to achieve departmental goals, including cold-calling, warm lead follow-up, and assisting members with enrollment applications.
- Build and manage effective working relationships with distribution channel partners, including brokers, agents, consultants, and community liaisons.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase business sales and expand our Medicare Advantage product line.
- Provide prospective members with knowledge and guidance needed to make informed buying decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless sales processes and excellent customer experiences.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of sales/service experience, preferably in the health insurance industry.
- Valid health/life insurance license(s) within designated service areas.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Understanding of healthcare and/or insurance industry.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to make independent judgments and provide innovative solutions.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, sharing best practices and experiences.
- Excellent communication and written skills, including presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills – ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Starting salary range based on skills and experience: $46,750 - $53,000 plus sales incentive bonus.
