Job Title: Oncology Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our oncology department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients with cancer, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized medication plans.
  • Monitor and manage medication regimens to prevent adverse drug reactions and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in oncology pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements:
  • PharmD degree or equivalent.
  • Iowa pharmacist licensure, either by examination or reciprocity.
  • PGY2 Oncology residency training or equivalent clinical experience in oncology setting.
  • Board of Pharmacy Specialties Oncology certification desirable within 24 months of hire.
