Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team at MercyOne Dubuque/Dyersville Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely medication dispensing and administration
  • Interpret physician orders and review therapy for age and appropriateness
  • Consult with nursing and medical staff on drug therapy and patient care
  • Participate in clinical pharmacy activities, including pharmacokinetics and drug information
  • Supervise and train pharmacy personnel as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
  • Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Iowa
  • Previous hospital experience in unit-dose, IV additive, and clinical pharmacy programs is desirable
