Maintenance Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Skana Aluminum Co. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and supervision to the maintenance team, ensuring effective coordination and execution of maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to meet business needs.
- Manage database information related to preventive maintenance, issue work orders, track status, and record completion.
- Prepare and execute maintenance project plans, ensuring adherence to schedule and developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Ensure preventative maintenance plans are current, accurate, and in place for all equipment types.
- Provide technical support to maintenance staff, assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, and conduct facilities upkeep projects.
- Work with the EHS Coordinator to develop and improve safety programs and training within the maintenance department.
- Coordinate and develop skill growth opportunities for direct reports.
- Maintain a "Service Mentality" when working with all employees.
- Comply with the Company's quality management system requirements.
- Follow and enforce all company policies.
- Provide support for the Company Apprenticeship Program.
- Minimum 8 years of maintenance experience or incremental growth in a supervisory or plant engineering role.
- Associate's Degree and/or Journeyman Status in a related field preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical experience, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Foundry or large equipment knowledge preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Champion of safety and quality initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
- Computer proficiency.
