Job Title: Maintenance Manager

At AMMO, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee essential functions and drive improvements in our manufacturing operations.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing maintenance, tooling, and all building and facilities operations. This role will also support capital projects by handling equipment purchases, rebuilds, safety upgrades, and modifications to existing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure continuous and error-free production flow.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair machines urgently.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and support new product/process implementations.
  • Advise on equipment end-of-life and plan capital expenses.
  • Lead and measure maintenance programs; participate in lean and continuous improvement activities.
  • Determine staffing, equipment needs, and other requirements for current and future demand.
  • Support Quality, environmental, and safety systems; provide leadership on the production floor.
  • Coordinate shift changes, facilitate bi-weekly meetings, and train new hires.
  • Develop and administer performance reviews, and mentor production staff.
  • Address associate concerns, promote teamwork, and ensure effective communication.
  • Collaborate on strategies, address issues, and monitor quality and production metrics.
  • Empower the team in equipment care, perform departmental functions as needed, and maintain documentation accuracy.
  • Improve processes to boost output, reduce scrap, and ensure material availability.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, convey a positive company image, and act as a role model.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma required.
  • Completion of LTC Supervisory Management or Materials Management Program is highly recommended.
  • Technical expertise equivalent to Press Technician III.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple areas, and coordinate work.
  • Strong knowledge of production, inventory, and safety.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and lead change.
  • Quick decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong written communication.
