Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lakeside Foods. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Job Requirements:
  • Repair and maintain all machinery as assigned.
  • Assist in the training of full-time employees in the proper, safe, and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Work with Department Manager in problem areas to reduce downtime, product waste, and inefficiencies.
  • Accurately complete Preventative Maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Adhere to Cher-Make established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
  • General knowledge of robotics operation and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of lubrication methods and application of products.
  • Ability to perform hydraulic system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Must safely and properly use hand and power tools and understand machine shop practices.
  • Must possess the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to perform electrical maintenance, consisting of installation and troubleshooting.
  • Must possess an understanding of electronics, programmable controllers, single phase, and 3 phase.
  • Must demonstrate the willingness to adapt and apply new technology and methods.
  • Willingness to receive training to keep knowledge current.
  • Ability to TIG weld various metals.
  • General knowledge of how poly film machines operate, and ability to troubleshoot the machine.
