We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the facility maintenance for our entire apartment community. This is a working supervisory position involving a wide variety of preventative maintenance and repair responsibilities. Rotating on-call shifts is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective delegation of assignments to ensure seamless operations
  • Establishing and adjusting work procedures to meet schedules and optimize productivity
  • Implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Mentoring new and current maintenance staff to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development
  • Inspecting the quality of completed work to ensure high standards are met
  • Inventory control and requisitions to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry principles and practices
  • Direct experience in residential facility maintenance, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong supervision, troubleshooting, communication, training, and problem-solving skills
