Coordinate and provide trainings for youth respite and assisted daily living services to direct support professionals and providers as needed.


Coordinate youth respite home services with families and providers.


Develop youth activities and support groups for all ages and disabilities, including parent engagement and support groups.

Assist schools in developing and accessing self-advocacy resources and education opportunities.


Facilitate meetings and trainings and provide education to community resource representatives and families.


Assist with youth caseload capacity needs and family resource coordination.


REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of a Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, education, or a related field.

Two years of professional experience working with youth or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Knowledge of or experience in ODE, DODD, and/or OOD desired.

A valid Ohio Driver's license and the ability to pass a physical examination and have an acceptable criminal background check (e.g., Bureau of Criminal Investigation).

Demonstrate the ability to foster and maintain a positive attitude within all areas of external/internal interaction.
