Position Overview:
The DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC North is seeking an experienced Event Operations Supervisor. This role is essential in guiding the Event team to deliver exceptional service during various events, ensuring an outstanding experience for all attendees.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Organize and oversee opening and closing duties for events.
2. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all public spaces.
3. Collaborate with event staff on setups, modifications, and schedules for all functions, including greeting guests and serving them during events.
4. Conduct inspections of event spaces post-function to confirm all equipment is returned and areas are tidy.
5. Familiarize yourself with the menu for each event, being prepared to discuss key ingredients and preparation methods with guests.
6. Execute any additional tasks as required by management.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Event Operations Supervisor, ideally within a hotel or resort setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively relay information and services to management and guests.
- Capability to carry up to 30lbs through busy environments consistently throughout shifts.
- Strong ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Compensation:
$20 per hour plus gratuities
