Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic vision for Deposit and Loan products, ensuring they are innovative, secure, and meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will oversee a talented team driving the creation and launch of new products that propel our organization forward in the competitive financial landscape.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy for all product offerings, encompassing all deposit account types and all loan account types.
  • Conduct thorough market research, existing customer research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends, informing product development roadmaps.
  • Champion innovation by fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration within your team, bringing new ideas to life through effective product ideation and development processes.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing optimization.
  • Collaborate on marketing and go-to-market strategies to ensure successful product launches and user adoption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including retail operations, contact center, member experience, technology, marketing, sales, finance and analytics.
  • Drive profitability through effective product management practices, focusing on maximizing revenue and minimizing costs.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and regulations in the industry, ensuring all products adhere to compliance standards.
  • Lead efforts to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with products.
  • Establish and manage budgets that support the plan for the department.
  • Assure compliance with regulations and with safe and sound business and banking practices, maintaining Citadel's best interest and that of its members.
  • Serves in the community as an ambassador of Citadel.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with a focus on financial services is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing banking products.
  • Strong understanding of the banking ecosystem, including various payment methods, networks, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and build high-performing teams.
  • Strategic vision with a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven approach to decision making with a focus on key metrics and KPIs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
