We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manufacturing Chemist to join our team at Collabera. As a key member of our Infectious Disease Developed Markets business unit, you will be responsible for producing high-quality materials for use in immunology-based chromatography and enzyme tests.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and support the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Investigate problem areas and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.
- Develop and implement new procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform in-process quality control testing to ensure the quality of manufacturing materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality systems and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Design and implement protocols for product improvement and develop new manufacturing processes.
- Produce critical and non-critical bioreagents for use in product and manufacturing processes using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in pipetting, spectrophotometry, HPLC, pH meters, gel electrophoresis, SDS page, and ELISA assays.
- Experience in a manufacturing or research and development environment.
- Knowledge of quality control testing and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
