About the Role

This is a 2nd shift role that involves performing a variety of manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality diagnostic animal products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple work centers and gain new skills that can help them advance in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and apply manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Operate a variety of machines on a rotating basis, including set-up, operation, clean-up, changeover, troubleshooting, and minor repair.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve production goals.
  • Use basic math skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Provide production and process training to other employees.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 1+ years of production and/or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • The ability to meet the physical demands of working on the production floor, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing other tasks that require manual dexterity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
