Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Controls Engineer II to join our team in Westbrook, Maine. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting product development from concept through sustained manufacturing of FDA-regulated products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and controls that meet regulatory requirements and ensure product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and controls that meet regulatory requirements and ensure product quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues and equipment malfunctions.
  • Design and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including process instructions, equipment manuals, and quality control procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a GMP, FDA, ISO, and USDA regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with cGMP and ISO 13485 regulations and practices.
  • Experience with automation technologies, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
