In November 2021, our COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test received Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for over-the-counter distribution. Since then, we have become a key supplier of at-home COVID tests to various governmental and nonprofit organizations, as well as individual consumers.

Position Summary

The EHR Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in our electronic health record (EHR) integration projects, collaborating closely with healthcare clients to comprehend their workflows, data requirements, and integration objectives. This position entails designing, executing, and overseeing the integration of our software solutions with diverse EHR systems to enhance healthcare delivery and outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in healthcare IT, a profound understanding of EHR systems, and the capability to articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to gain insights into their EHR systems, workflows, and data frameworks.
  • Devise and implement integration solutions that effectively link our software with client EHR systems utilizing HL7, FHIR, and other pertinent standards.
  • Conduct requirements analysis, solution design, and workflow mapping to ensure our offerings align with client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the development team to convert client needs into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the complete integration process, including testing, deployment, and post-launch assistance.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams regarding EHR integration components.
  • Remain informed about the latest trends and regulations in healthcare IT, EHR systems, and interoperability standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, emphasizing EHR systems and integration.
  • Strong grasp of healthcare workflows, data structures, and standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.).
  • Experience with integration engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody) and API development.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with specific EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Care Quality).
  • Certifications related to healthcare IT (e.g., HL7 FHIR Certification).
  • Experience in a client-facing technical capacity.
