Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Desk Specialist to join our team at LCG, Inc. This individual will provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring seamless IT operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting current and previous Microsoft workstation operating systems, as well as experience supporting client configuration, administration, and network access in Microsoft server environments.

This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and training to end-users
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical issues
  • Install and configure peripheral equipment and software
  • Document and track customer requests
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless IT operations

Requirements:

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Certifications in A+, HDI, MCSE, or MCPs in current Microsoft workstation, server, and applications
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience troubleshooting Microsoft workstation operating systems
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience supporting client configuration, administration, and network access in Microsoft server environments
  • Expert knowledge of basic computer hardware and desktop operating systems
  • Extensive application support experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience supporting Adobe Professional and SharePoint
  • Experience using the Service Now ticketing system
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring junior technical staff

Compensation and Benefits:

LCG, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $66,000 to $82,000 per year, with a target of $78,000, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance options, life and disability insurance, retirement plan contributions, paid leave, federal holidays, professional development, and lifestyle benefits.
