Role:
As a Global Contracts and Operations Manager at Northwood Space, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's international network of sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading complex contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and align with company objectives.
- Partnering with external companies and cross-functional internal teams to drive business growth and scalability.
- Developing and maintaining databases to track costs, partner deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Establishing processes for purchasing and invoicing, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Supporting regulatory filings, supply chain management, and other business-critical functions.
Responsibilities:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Contract management: negotiating and securing contracts that meet company objectives.
- Business development: partnering with external companies to drive growth and scalability.
- Database management: developing and maintaining databases to track costs, partner deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Process establishment: setting up processes for purchasing and invoicing, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Regulatory support: assisting with regulatory filings, supply chain management, and other business-critical functions.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in contracting, engineering, supply chain, operations, or purchasing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and derive solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize effectively to meet company goals and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
We welcome candidates with:
- Experience negotiating contracts and establishing terms and conditions.
- Ability to speak and write multiple languages.
- Experience with data analytics, modeling, visualization, and databases (SQL, etc.).
- Understanding of contract law, regulatory, and industry-specific legal frameworks.
- Experience with global supply chain management and buying.
- Ability to travel as needed to global customer or partner locations.
