Principal Contracts Manager, Journeyman

Key Responsibilities- Conducts the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts to ensure proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Analyzes estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Reviews contractual documents to ensure adherence to company policy, government specifications, and requirements, and conformance to master agreements.
- Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
- Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
- Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures that may affect sections and subordinate work units.
- Expert in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and procedures.
- Demonstrates ability to assist gov with all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award, or incentive fee management.
- Prior PCO or buyer experience preferred.
- Highly Desired: past or present experience with SSC or mission partner space control or space situational awareness mission area programs.
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
- PhD or Juris Doctorate degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Required Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
