Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join our team at OPTIMUS (TX). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in software sales, with a strong understanding of the energy and commodity markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the energy space.
  • Develop and close deals with existing and new customers.
  • Upsell and cross-sell our solutions to existing customers.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to build relationships and stay up-to-date on market trends.
  • Collaborate with our analytic team to prepare for meetings, demonstrations, and customer communications.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time to meet with clients and prospects.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of software sales experience.
  • Familiarity with the energy and commodity markets.
  • Previous experience with risk analytics in energy markets, specifically power.
  • Possess a bachelor's or M.S. degree from an accredited university.
  • US Citizens, Green Card holders, and other authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
