Development Specialist

We are looking for a talented Development Specialist - Advanced Materials to join our team at Authentix. This role involves developing and validating new ink formulations and security printing solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and physical sciences, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in development and validation of ink formulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, validate, and implement new ink formulations and security printing solutions
- Conduct lab tests related to developing and validating inks, raw materials, and test procedures
- Facilitate the implementation of printed security features at commercial and security printers
- Manage print trials using various processes
- Transfer developed products to production, including design of production procedures and quality specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years' experience in development and validation of ink formulations
- Experience in UV, IR, and OVI inks preferred
- Preferred experience in ink jet ink formulation
- Strong background in chemistry/physical sciences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Work Environment: Work is performed primarily in standard office, lab, and print facilities. Employees may work under stress due to regular interdepartmental interaction and pressure to meet deadlines.
