We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and plan individualized patient care, implementing and evaluating care plans to achieve desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and provide education to patients and families.
- Function as a preceptor to new staff and demonstrate expertise in neonatal care, including insertion and maintenance of peripheral intravenous lines and management of neonates requiring respiratory support.
- Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and staff and self-development.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the department/unit.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
- Valid State of Connecticut Registered Nurse license.
- BLS and NRP certification required.
- NICU Certification required within two years after completion of orientation.
