Position Overview


The Senior Finance Manager, FP&A will play a crucial role within the Financial Planning and Analysis team at Glass Lewis. This position is responsible for spearheading monthly reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical and financial modeling skills to deliver actionable insights and guidance to key stakeholders. Success in this role hinges on the ability to cultivate cross-functional partnerships and effectively communicate complex analytical findings to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership, offering clear and actionable insights.
  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of intricate problems and the capacity to present and communicate recommendations to senior leaders, including suggestions for course correction.
  • Oversee the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring precision and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough financial analyses, including variance, profitability, and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support long-term planning, strategic decision-making, and risk assessment, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
  • Lead the establishment and implementation of key performance indicators and benchmarks for financial planning and control.
  • Drive improvements and efficiencies in data structure while ensuring data integrity and fidelity in support of various projects.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines, incorporating executive-level feedback, and collaborating cross-functionally to build consensus on goals, assumptions, and conclusions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, strategy, or operations; experience in subscription-based revenue is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes in a multinational business environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
  • Certification in financial management (e.g., CFA, CMA) is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools).
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
Reporting Structure
This position reports to the CFO.
Location
This is a hybrid position requiring regular office attendance.
