FCS Financial, a top-quality agricultural lending institution, is seeking a Senior Financial Leader to empower and develop their staff and drive strong results. This position serves as the Controller and leads our Financial Operations Team.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Reviews and prepares financial reports, including shareholder reports, Farm Credit Administration call reports, and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Internal Controls: Evaluates internal control processes, identifies and implements process and procedure changes to improve internal controls.
- Leadership: Leads the financial operations team, provides leadership for assigned staff, and determines division of responsibilities.
- Accounting Management: Manages the Association's general ledger, accounts payable, asset management, and account reconciliation.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- 5 years or more of progressively responsible financial management experience.
- 3 years' supervisory experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
FCS Financial is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System. We are seeking a Senior Financial Leader who takes initiative, is driven to get things done, delivers high-quality results, is precise, and can manage multiple priorities.
This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The salary range for this position is $93,000 to $161,900, however salary is commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be located in our Central Office in Jefferson City, Missouri. A hybrid work option may be considered after the initial training period.
