Job Description

This Sales and Development Manager role plays a critical part in driving business growth and revenue expansion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Sell lawn and landscape services to commercial customers
  • Create sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals
  • Meet with prospective customers to understand their needs and expectations; follow up with prospective customers on a regular basis.
  • Perform inspections of commercial properties to determine service needs and pricing
  • Prepare and present proposals to customers
  • Sell additional services to existing customers
  • Achieve annual sales goals
  • Collaborate with the Schendel Operations and Customer Care teams to ensure customers receive the best experience possible
Requirements
  • Proven work experience in B2B sales (without receiving business leads)
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions
  • Ability to set priorities with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management, planning, and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with operations team to ensure the customer's needs are met
  • Functional understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn a new software program quickly
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license
What We Offer
  • First year base salary is $42,000, plus sales commissions. Commissions generally range from $30,000 to $50,000 annually.
