Sales and Development Manager

Job DescriptionThis Sales and Development Manager role plays a critical part in driving business growth and revenue expansion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities- Sell lawn and landscape services to commercial customers
- Create sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals
- Meet with prospective customers to understand their needs and expectations; follow up with prospective customers on a regular basis.
- Perform inspections of commercial properties to determine service needs and pricing
- Prepare and present proposals to customers
- Sell additional services to existing customers
- Achieve annual sales goals
- Collaborate with the Schendel Operations and Customer Care teams to ensure customers receive the best experience possible
- Proven work experience in B2B sales (without receiving business leads)
- Ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions
- Ability to set priorities with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with operations team to ensure the customer's needs are met
- Functional understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn a new software program quickly
- High school diploma
- Valid driver's license
- First year base salary is $42,000, plus sales commissions. Commissions generally range from $30,000 to $50,000 annually.
