We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Manager to join our Boston-based Enterprise Business Solutions Team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional, global projects and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Provide leadership to project teams, aligning projects with the BHSI digital roadmap and long-term vision.
  • Facilitate sessions with stakeholders to analyze business and user needs, delivering necessary artifacts.
  • Demonstrate functional acumen to support solution delivery, maintaining alignment with industry best practices.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate offshore project and program teams.
  • Ensure projects and programs meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Engineer, guide, and implement technical solutions, working with BHSI and offshore technical teams.
  • Participate in solution design, ensuring alignment with the technology roadmap.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architects/product managers to develop a unified direction on tool utilization.
  • Oversee development activity, providing guidance to team members.
  • Present technical solutions to the Enterprise Architecture Review Board.
  • Help create documentation for user support and production/operating procedures.
  • Drive education on core concepts around cloud computing, big data, and architecture frameworks.
  • Facilitate assessment of business requirements, establishing target state solutions and designs.
  • Drive quantifiable efficiencies through automated testing and transition to a dev/ops model.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and tools.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 10+ years of technology experience, with proven experience in building applications and delivering software solutions.
  • 10+ years of experience with full product/development lifecycle, with deep understanding in.Net, Microservices, GitHub, Power Platform, AI builder, SharePoint, Angular, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • 5+ years of experience managing people.
  • Working knowledge of Agile work management tools, such as Jira/Confluence and Azure Dev Ops.
  • Strong experience in SDLC, data models, and data flows.
  • Proven expertise in cloud-first and experience migrating legacy solutions to cloud solutions.
  • Research best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed organization through influence, partnership, and authority.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to upcoming technology trends and apply them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus, and achieve objectives.
