This role involves providing repair and implementation services directly at client locations using company-provided vehicles.

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $27.00 to $38.50 (Annual Salary: $56,000 to $80,000)

Compensation is based on the applicant's skills, experience, education, certifications, and licenses.

Location

This position is primarily remote, designed to support various regions. Employees will be required to attend training and onboarding sessions at our headquarters as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electronic equipment, including RF, control, and IT systems at customer sites.
  • Prepare, program, configure, and stage equipment prior to installation.
  • Demonstrate operational features of equipment and systems, providing end-user training.
  • Deliver equipment and materials to various locations.
  • Assist installation teams with the physical setup of equipment.
  • Conduct field configuration and optimization of new systems.
  • Repair electronic equipment installed in vehicles and at service centers.
  • Support the design of new systems.
  • Document activities, systems, and materials accurately.
  • Assist support staff with processing and updating repair orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues or escalate them promptly while adhering to established standards.
  • Document all work, including updates related to service requests in a case management system.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Possess a diverse skill set to adapt to various situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate technical information clearly to customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Pass background checks and drug tests as required.

  • Experience as a public safety end user or first responder is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of basic electronics theory and concepts.
  • Familiarity with Windows PC/server and networking principles.
  • Completion of a trade school or certification program in electronics or related field.
  • Basic math skills to support electronics theory.
  • Preferred three years of field service or internal support experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Proficiency with electronic test equipment and soldering.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
  • Capability to lift and carry equipment as needed.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary licenses and certifications within the first 18 months of employment.
