Job Title: Payroll and Benefits Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team at RightStone. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for administering payroll and benefits for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Process and review weekly and bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer benefit programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and change reporting.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings, including federal, state, and local taxes.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile General Ledger and other accounts.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from human resources and management.
  • Develop census data and provide census to brokers, ensuring cost-effective benefits.
  • Coordinate Open Enrollment Meetings with employees, human resources, and brokers.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and reports necessary or suggested changes to management.
  • Contribute to and maintain the HRIS system, including training human resources and management.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience processing payroll and benefits administration for multi-jurisdictional states and locals.
  • Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality and professionalism with payroll and personnel information.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
  • Highly proficient with computers and technology, including ADP Workforce Now.
  • Internet savvy with the ability to navigate and manage employee benefits changes on multiple carrier websites.
