Job Title: Payroll and Benefits Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team at RightStone. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for administering payroll and benefits for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and review weekly and bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and change reporting.
  • Maintain and review ACA information with human resources and management team to comply with regulations.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual federal, state, and local tax filings.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from human resource and/or management team.
  • Develop census data and provide census to broker.
  • Work with payroll and benefits department and broker to secure benefits and maintain cost-effective use of benefits.
  • Coordinate yearly Open Enrollment Meetings with employees, human resources, and broker.
  • Ensure that human resource department and employees understand benefit programs and counsel if situations arise.
  • Calculate employee payroll insurance deductions based on enrollment paperwork and notify the payroll company of those changes.
  • Review and analyze changes to state and federal laws pertaining to benefits and report necessary or suggested changes to Director.
  • Contribute to and help maintain the HRIS system, including training the human resources and management team.
  • Review/audit employee change requests approval process.
  • Support and facilitate positive interaction with others as evidenced by professional maturity, respect for others, a team-centered approach, and maintain confidential information.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 to 5 years of ADP experience.
  • Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality and professionalism with payroll and personnel information.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred.
  • 5 years of experience processing payroll and benefits administration for multi-jurisdictional states and locals.
  • 5-7 years of experience using ADP Workforce Now.
  • Extremely organized and detailed-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
  • Highly proficient with computers and technology.
  • Technological skill sets to include use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and other software as required.
  • Internet savvy with the ability to navigate and manage employee benefits changes on multiple carrier websites.
