We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Permanent Property Accountant to enhance our financial team.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Property Accounting. This role offers a fantastic chance to refine your skills and play a vital role in our organization's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Property Accountant, your duties will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations within the accounting department, focusing on General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Property Accounting.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports regularly, providing valuable insights to management.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
  • Coordinating and completing annual audits.
  • Enhancing systems and procedures while initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Establishing and enforcing appropriate accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Conducting periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
  • Collaborating with financial staff to ensure seamless daily transactions.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and regulations to maintain current knowledge.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Property Accounting.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
