About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team at First American Financial Company. As an Escrow Officer, you will play a critical role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing escrow accounts, processing documents, and ensuring timely closings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage escrow accounts and ensure timely disbursements of funds
  • Process and review documents related to real estate transactions
  • Act as a liaison between parties involved in the transaction, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues
  • Prepare and review reports on the status of escrow accounts
  • Examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and distribute final closing statements and title documents
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in escrow-related roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
  • Valid licensing/certification as required by applicable state
  • High school diploma or equivalent
