About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to join our team at First American Financial Company. As an Escrow Officer, you will play a critical role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing escrow accounts, processing documents, and ensuring timely closings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage escrow accounts and ensure timely disbursements of funds
- Process and review documents related to real estate transactions
- Act as a liaison between parties involved in the transaction, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues
- Prepare and review reports on the status of escrow accounts
- Examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and distribute final closing statements and title documents
- 2-4 years of experience in escrow-related roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies
- Valid licensing/certification as required by applicable state
- High school diploma or equivalent
