Wagner Spray Tech, a global leader in high technology surface finishing products, is seeking a highly skilled Engineered Systems Sales Manager to lead sales in the southwest territory.

Job Overview

As an Engineered Systems Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of powder and liquid applications in the southwest territory. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies, building relationships with customers, and collaborating with internal teams to win projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Collaborate with Proposals and Engineering teams to offer optimal application solutions, align Wagner system benefits with customer needs, and generate price recommendations based on competitive analysis and value offerings.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Develop strong customer relationships, prioritize sales activities, and coordinate with team members and other departments to achieve goals.
  • Travel and Territory Management: Manage travel schedule to cover the territory effectively and ensure timely completion of sales activities.
Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering.
  • Sales experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of production processes and automation.
  • Strong network of industry relationships.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to learn about advanced coating systems.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Aptitude for identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
