About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Site Lead to join our team at American Tower. As a key member of our Network Operations department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our wireless infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data from assigned tower assets to ensure high standards of data quality.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to manage maintenance and repairs within a geographic area, including towers, rooftop installations, fiber-based networks, and generators.
  • Use Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and other data collection tools to perform routine site audits and ensure compliance with safety and asset integrity standards.
  • Engage with customers and vendors to manage projects, ensuring timely completion and safety standards are met.
  • Respond to customer service level agreements and resolve issues related to back-up generators, fiber-based networks, and emergency response to critical events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in telecommunications or a related field required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, and a demonstrated safe driving record.
  • Must have, or within a year of hire obtain, FAA Part 107 Certification to operate UAS.
  • Vendor management experience, real-estate management experience, or a civil construction background preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to use additional company software applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and traverse developed and undeveloped construction sites.
  • Approximately 40% overnight travel may be required.
