Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of global writers within the cloud content framework.
  • Address reviewer comments and integrate feedback effectively.
  • Partner with our product teams to enhance and sustain current documentation collections.
  • Validate and test content scenarios intended for customer publication.
  • Utilize content management tools, processes, and authoring guidelines to produce high-quality documentation.
  • Engage regularly with content, project management, and engineering teams across various Azure services to ensure timely and quality delivery of documentation projects.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years in technical editing or experience in crafting technical documentation for IT professionals, developers, or DevOps audiences.
  • A robust editorial background is essential – significant expertise in content editing to support our contributing writers during the publishing process (including grammatical reviews, copy editing, and adherence to content style guidelines).
  • Proficient understanding of command line Git/GitHub and experience collaborating with multiple contributors on pull requests.
  • Familiarity with Azure or similar cloud service providers.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated individual who excels both independently and in team settings.
  • Comfortable using command line and Bash shell.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
