System One is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in the Asheboro, NC area. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing systems to ensure products or services meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality systems to ensure product quality conforms to customer requirements.
- Support the development of quality training programs for employees.
- Facilitate customer complaint, corrective action, and preventative action programs.
- Perform statistical analysis, product testing, and measurement as necessary.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers to address issues concerning product quality.
- Assist with product development and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform supplier evaluations and determine supplier quality requirements.
- Generate reports for quality-related metrics, including non-conforming material reports, customer complaints, and returned merchandise authorization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- General knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing systems, and ISO.
- Experience with quality techniques, such as statistical process control, inspection systems, calibration systems, and design of experiments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer experience.
- Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience with statistical software packages, such as Minitab and JMP.
- Understanding of human factors and motivation.
