The Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nursing Educator to join its team. This role will play a critical part in the development and implementation of educational programs for nursing staff.

As a Clinical Educator at Rutland Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for supporting collaboration between academic and practice settings, promoting evidence-based practice, and providing education program development, implementation, and evaluation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership in education and mentorship to nursing staff
  • Serving as a resource for staff development and continuous learning
  • Developing and implementing education programs that meet the needs of nursing staff
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of education programs
  • Promoting evidence-based practice throughout the organization

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A BSN degree required
  • At least 5 years of clinical experience in nursing in a hospital setting, including 3 years of department/unit/specialty specific experience
  • Previous educational nursing instructor experience is preferred
  • Current Vermont RN licensure and/or Advanced Practice licensure in Vermont
  • Unit-specific training certifications as required per specific department operational framework
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association
  • Specialty certification in Nursing Professional Development and one unit-specific certification preferred or obtained within two years of hire

This role offers a competitive salary range of $33.65-$58.20 per hour, commensurate with experience.
