SAI Consulting Engineers (SAI) is a leading transportation design and construction management firm with offices across the United States. We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our growing team in Florida.

As a CEI Project Administrator/Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing various aspects of our local and statewide transportation projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Receive general instructions and exercise independent judgment to solve work problems.
  • Direct and assign tasks to administrative and field staff, providing support throughout the construction project lifecycle.
  • Prepare progress estimates and final estimates for ongoing projects.
Qualifications:

For candidates with Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degrees:

  • Two years of relevant engineering experience in transportation projects.
  • A Master's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management may substitute for one year of engineering experience.

For candidates without Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management degrees:

  • Eight years of experience in CEI, roadway, or bridge construction.
  • Two years of that experience must be in relevant transportation projects.
Licensure (for CEI Project Engineer):
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida.
  • Must obtain an endorsement in the State of Florida within six months of Project NTP if registered in another state.
Certifications:

Qualifications/certifications for this position may be obtained within six months from the date of hire, provided that the position works under the supervision and direction of a Senior Project Engineer, all other requirements are met, and a training plan is submitted detailing when the qualifications/certifications will be obtained.

  • FDOT Advanced MOT
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
  • CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination).
